Introduction
The purpose of this role is to manufacture, maintain, and repair precision press tooling and moulding
tools, with a strong focus on CNC machining to support production requirements and ensure highquality
output.
Job description
• Operate and program CNC Milling machines to manufacture and repair precision tooling and components.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to set schedules for tooling projects.
• Manufacture equipment, tooling, and gauges according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Utilise EDGECAM software for CNC programming.
• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot decentralized operations machinery and equipment.
• Assist the production department with machine and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure all parts meet established quality standards and are manufactured with precision.
• Adhere to all workshop safety regulations and company procedures.
• Carry out all work efficiently, ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting production deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the toolroom and CNC operations.

Minimum requirements
• Matric/Senior Certificate or equivalent.
• Qualified Toolmaker with a Trade Test.
• At least 10 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a toolroom environment.
• CNC Milling experience.
• Proficiency in EDGECAM software (Essential)
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts as required.
