Introduction
The purpose of this role is to manufacture, maintain, and repair precision press tooling and moulding tools, with a strong focus on CNC machining to support production requirements and ensure high-quality output.
Job description

·      Operate and program CNC Milling machines to manufacture and repair precision tooling and components.

·         Ensure timely delivery and adherence to set schedules for tooling projects.

·         Manufacture equipment, tooling, and gauges according to technical drawings and specifications.

·         Utilise EDGECAM software for CNC programming.

·         Maintain, service, and troubleshoot decentralized operations machinery and equipment.

·         Assist the production department with machine and equipment maintenance.

·         Ensure all parts meet established quality standards and are manufactured with precision.

·         Adhere to all workshop safety regulations and company procedures.

·         Carry out all work efficiently, ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting production deadlines.

·         Support continuous improvement initiatives within the toolroom and CNC operations.

Minimum requirements

·         Matric/Senior Certificate or equivalent.

·         Qualified Toolmaker with a Trade Test.

·         At least 10 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a toolroom environment.

·         CNC Milling experience.

·         Proficiency in EDGECAM software.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Ability to work shifts as required.
